A quick look at the app and the browser add-on doing the admin — you always keep the final click.

The bit nobody posts about

Selling preloved is 10% sourcing and 90% admin

The sourcing is the fun part. Then comes the rest of it, and it is the reason most people's stock sits in bags in the spare room.

Writing the same description again

Forty items in and every title starts sounding the same. The ones that get found are the ones written the way buyers actually search, and that is a different skill from sourcing.

Guessing the price

You scroll a few listings, see what other people are asking, and pick something. But asking is not selling. Half those listings have sat there since February.

Losing track of what's live

What's listed, what's sold, what's been sat there ninety days at the wrong price. Once you're past a hundred items, memory stops being a system.

What it does

A command centre, not another app to keep updated

Everything works from the photos you were taking anyway.

Listings written to be found

Three title options, each chasing a different search — one leading on the brand, one on the item, one on the style term people are actually typing. Descriptions that answer the measurement question before it lands in your inbox.

Prices from real sales

A price band built from what comparable items sold for, not what hopeful sellers are asking. It shows you the working, and it tells you when it isn't confident rather than inventing a number.

6 sold · 11 active · high confidence

Every item, one place

Stock, status, days listed, what it cost you and what it made. The stale-stock view shows what's been sitting longest so you know what to drop before you know what to buy.

Live 88 · Reserved 4 · Sold 213

Relist without the worry

Refresh a tired listing with new copy, spaced out at a sensible pace. Nothing happens in bulk, nothing happens at machine speed, and nothing happens that you didn't approve.

Scheduled · Paced · Reversible

Turn favourites into sales

See who's watching an item and what a price drop is likely to be worth. A planned drop lands as a notification to everyone who favourited it, so timing it well is worth more than dropping further.

14 watching · drop day 14 → £75

Bring your shop with you

Import the stock you already have listed when you sign up, including what's sold. No re-typing two hundred items, and your sales history starts working for your pricing on day one.

List to Vinted and eBay

A browser add-on fills each listing straight from your stock — photos, title, price and the right fields — so you're not retyping the same thing on two sites. On Vinted you press post; on eBay it goes through eBay's own API, or fills the form for Simple Delivery. One at a time or a batch, always your final click.

Vinted · eBay · Simple Delivery

Sold on one, down on the other

Sell on eBay and your phone buzzes to take it off Vinted before it can sell twice. eBay sales flow back into your stock on their own, and slow movers can be merged into a bundle in a couple of taps — the singles come down so nothing's double-listed.

Why it's different

Not another crosslister

Most tools in this space do one thing: copy a listing from one marketplace to another. Useful — but that's plumbing, not a plan. ThreadQuarters runs the business the listings belong to.

Priced, not just posted

A crosslister will happily repost your guess to five sites at once — now you're wrong in more places. ThreadQuarters builds the price from what comparable items actually sold for, and shows its working. Cross-listing should mean the right number, not the same number everywhere.

Sold comps · not asking prices

A back office, not a pipe

Moving a listing from A to B is one feature here, not the whole product. Underneath sits the part crosslisters skip: what each item cost, what it made, how long it's sat, what's gone stale, what's sold. Listing one thing is easy — running two hundred is the problem we solve.

Cost · profit · days listed · sold history

It fills — it doesn't bot

Vinted has no public listing API, so anything that "auto-lists" for you is automating against your account at machine speed — exactly what gets accounts restricted. ThreadQuarters fills the form and hands you the post button. eBay does have an official API, so there it publishes properly, above board.

Your click · your account · no bots

Written, not copy-pasted

A crosslister drops the same block of text onto every site. ThreadQuarters writes the listing to be found — the terms buyers actually search for, the measurement question answered before it lands in your inbox — then fills it into each marketplace's own fields and character limits, from the photos you already took.

Three steps, in order

Photograph, confirm, publish

The order matters: nothing gets written until you've confirmed what was read off the label.

STEP 01

Photograph the item

Front, back, labels, any flaws. The label shots do the heavy lifting — a style code turns a blue jacket into an exact product with a season and a market value.

STEP 02

Confirm what we read

Brand, size, composition and condition come back with the bits we weren't sure about flagged. You tap to confirm or correct. Nothing gets guessed and written as fact.

STEP 03

Publish and track

The browser add-on fills the listing on Vinted or eBay from your stock — you give it a look and post. Then watch everything from the dashboard: what's live, days listed, and eBay sales landing back on their own.

The pricing engine

Asking prices lie. Sold prices don't.

Most pricing tools average what other sellers are asking, which is why they always read high — those listings haven't sold. ThreadQuarters weights sold prices properly, discounts asking prices, drops the outliers, and gives you a band with the reasoning attached.

You also get a drop schedule, because on Vinted a price drop notifies everyone watching the item. That makes each drop a small marketing event worth spending deliberately.

Account safety

Your account is the business. We treat it that way.

This was built by a reseller who got an account restricted for listing too fast on a new account. Everything here is designed around not letting that happen to you.

Testing programme

Looking for sellers to break it

ThreadQuarters works, but it has only ever been used by one shop — mine. Before it launches properly it needs testing by people who sell differently to me.

What you get

Free access to everything for the whole testing period, and a permanent discount when it launches. Direct line to me — you tell me what's broken or missing and I'll fix it, usually the same week.

What I'm asking

Use it on real stock for a few weeks — thirty items or more is ideal — and tell me honestly where it slows you down. A short call at the start and one at the end. That's it.

~3 weeks · real listings · honest feedback

Who it suits

Sellers with enough stock that admin has become a problem. Vinted and eBay both work today; if you run both and want to cross-list between them, that's exactly the workflow I most want tested.

Being straight with you

It's unfinished. Things will break, features will move, and you'll hit rough edges I haven't found yet. Nothing touches your Vinted account without you approving it, and you can export or delete your data at any point.

Questions

Before you ask

Does it post to Vinted for me?

No. The browser add-on fills the Vinted listing from your stock so you're not retyping it, but you press post. Vinted has no official listing API, so nothing runs against your account behind the scenes — that's the sort of thing that gets accounts restricted. eBay is different: it has an official API, so a one-click "publish to eBay" is safe and above board (and for Simple Delivery the add-on fills eBay's form the same way Vinted does).

Do I have to give you my login?

Never. There is no password field, and nothing runs against your account on your behalf. Importing your existing stock happens through a file you control or in your own browser session.

Which marketplaces does it work with?

Vinted and eBay today — draft once and list to either, or cross-list between them, with the vocabulary and character limits handled per platform. eBay supports one-click publishing through its official API and Simple Delivery for private sellers, plus automatic sales sync. Depop formatting is next.

How does it know what things sell for?

Comparable sold listings, weighted by how similar they genuinely are and how recent they are, with asking prices discounted and outliers removed. When there isn't enough data it says so rather than making a number up.

What happens to my photos and listing data?

Your photos and listings are yours. To draft a listing, photos are sent to a third-party AI provider named in the privacy notice, and they are not used to train anyone's models. You can export everything or ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Do you use my sales data for anything else?

Sold prices are pooled anonymously across everyone using ThreadQuarters, which is what makes the pricing suggestions accurate. No buyer details and nothing identifying your shop. It's set out in full in the privacy notice, and you can opt out without losing anything else.

What if I already have a spreadsheet?

Import it. Bring the photos too, and the sold rows if you have them — past sales make your future pricing better.

Testers drive what gets built next. Tell me what would make ThreadQuarters better for how you sell — it comes straight to me.

Fancy testing it?
